Clinic for skateboarders
A clinic for intermediate skateboarders will be held at Umina Skate Park on Wednesday, April 26, from 10am.
The clinic aimed to take intermediate skaters to a higher standard, according to organiser Mr John Ferguson from Gosford Council.
Experienced instructors will conduct one-hour classes with a maximum of four people per class.
Each applicant must wear a safety helmet to participate in the clinics.
Mr Ferguson said the clinic provided an ideal opportunity for skaters to visit the park and be comfortable mixing with other users.
The skate park was designed to be used by all standards of skaters, he said.
Registrations cost $6 and were taken by the cashier, Gosford City Council, Mann St, Gosford. Registration forms were also available at most skateboard shops.
