Toy charity seeks workshop
Peninsula-based workers for charity Toys from Wood are appealing to the public for the loan of someone's garage or workshop.
For the last 14 years, the group has made toys and equipment, free of charge, for local charities.
Beneficiaries have included handicapped schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, St Vincent de Paul society, The Salvation Army, Auntie's and Uncles and other family welfare groups.
The group's current workshop is no longer available and they seeking a new location.
The facility must be able to accommodate four to six workers to meet for up to four hours once a week to discuss manufacture and distribution of products and be capable of storing light woodworking tools and equipment.
Workers from the group would appreciate any offers from people in the Woy Woy Peninsula area who would allow use of their premises for the groups operations.
