Association requests turning lane

The Pretty Beach, Wagstaffe and District Progress Association recently requested that Gosford Council provide a turning lane at the intersection of The Scenic Rd and Putty Beach Rd, Killcare.

Access to The Scenic Road from Putty Beach Road was currently available via a laneway between Putty Beach Rd and Beach Dr.

The council traffic committee reported the council had recently upgraded the intersection of Beach Dr and The Scenic Rd.

Notes from a traffic committee meeting stated: "The terrain and alignment of The Scenic Rd at Putty Beach Rd would not allow for any type of intersection improvements such as turning lanes."

No action would therefore be taken to provide a turning lane in The Scenic Rd at its intersection with Putty Beach Rd.
