Illuminated signs
Gosford Council will receive more tenders to construct illuminated street signs following its meeting on Tuesday, November 25.
At the meeting Cr Bockholt said that she had waited 12 years to speak against the signs.
"They are vile.
"They are visual pollution," she said.
"They are awful I'd like to get rid of them."
Tenders for more signs, which generate revenue for the Council, were received from two companies but the Council chose to reject them and seek more tenders.
Council voted to look for more tenders to construct the signs.
Cr Bockholt, Cr Geoff Preece and Cr Judith Penton were recorded in dissent.
