Former Bells' pianist dies
Long-serving Bells Musical Group pianist and community identity Dorothy Harvey has died aged 101.
Mrs Harvey, born on November 16, 1902, passed away on November 27.
A memorial service will be held for Ms Harvey on December 3 and Ettalong Uniting Church at 2pm.
The Rotary Club of Umina Beach recently presented Dorothy with a Paul Harris Fellowship Award at a special presentation at Woy Woy Community Aged Care Hostel.
She retired to Booker Bay with her husband in the early 60s.
Dorothy was involved with the Save the Children organisation in Woy Woy and with the Presbyterian Church.
The Bells Musical Group, a band of retirees, made her their pianist for over 20 years.
