Cycleway addition

A new addition to the local cycleway network in the Koolewong area has been announced by Member for Peats, Ms Marie Andrews.

Ms Andrews said the State Government provided $310,000 towards the new 600-metre section of the cycleway, which runs from Koolewong Foreshore Reserve to Couche Crescent north along Brisbane Water Drive.

"The project links into the planned Gosford to Woy Woy cycleway network and is a welcome addition to what is an expanding cycleway network on the Central Coast," she said.

"This new section of cycleway is an addition to the existing foreshore cycleway which will ultimately link Point Clare and Woy Woy, and will significantly improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians in the area."

The project was jointly funded by equal contribution from the State Government and Gosford City Council.
