They took a beating

Woy Woy water polo team took a beating from Gosford in the round ending November 26.

Gosford juniors defeated Woy Woy 4-2.

The two best players were Nike Mendozza, Gosford, and Corey Eames, Woy Woy.

In the second grade Gosford men's team defeated Woy Woy 7-4.

The best players were Wayne Ford, Gosford, and Jimmy Morel, Woy Woy.

In the women's round Gosford defeated Woy Woy 11-9.

In the first grade the Woy Woy Men's team Gosford 11-10.

There were some really high scoring affairs at Gosford Pool, especially in the women's and men's first grade matches, with both Gosford and Woy Woy going goal for goal.

Outstanding players for the women were Vanessa Henderson from Woy Woy with six goals and Mardi Love from Gosford.

In the men's first grade, Daniel Robinson and Mitch Baird from Woy Woy had strong games, as did the Gosford goalkeeper Tim Wilson.
