Chelsea Johnson, also of the Campus' junior team, progressed to the final of the junior girls in her first competition.
Mr Katen, a teacher at the Campus, said: "I was impressed with the students' performance, attitude and behaviour on the day and I hope they continue with their enthusiastic approach to surfing."
