Computers to train seniors
Council is supplying additional computer equipment at Ettalong Senior Citizen's Centre for training purposes.
Computer training has been provided since October.
Training is being provided three days per week to an average of eight students per day with a total of 45 students.
The training is provided by Council's Centre Aide Officer in addition to her other duties, and the present equipment is provided through the Senior Citizens Centre program.
It is carried out in the computer training room at Ettalong Senior Citizen's Centre.
The new equipemnt will be three new PCs, three monitors and a scanner, costing a total of $7100.
