Numeracy test held
Year 7 and 8 students at Brisbane Water Secondary College, Umina Campus, participated in the Secondary Numeracy Assessment Program on May 13.
The program is a comprehensive test of the numeracy skills needed in the subject areas studied by Year 7 and 8 students and is produced by the Student Assessment and Recording Unit, NSW Department of Education and Training.
The results of the test will indicate students' numeracy skills and areas where students may need help.
Reports of the results will be sent to the campus in July and will be used to support teaching and learning programs aimed at improving students' numeracy skills.
Parents or carers will receive a report of their child's performance in the test.
