Anzac Day essay winners

Year 9 history students, Cameron Black and Julia Persico, of Brisbane Water Secondary College, Umina Campus, won the Anzac Day Essay Competition run by Gosford Masonic Club RSL members.

The students were honoured by the members at a luncheon on April 10 where they gave a public reading of their winning essays, received the winners prize, and laid a wreath on behalf of all Central Coast students.

RSL members said they were impressed with the thought and scholarship exhibited by the winning essays.
