Library use seminar held

Woy Woy Library held a free seminar on Friday, May 30, for parents and carers about how to use the library effectively.

The seminar also covered helping your child develop library and information skills, as part of Gosford City Library's PALS (Parents and Libraries) campaign.

The seminar was for parents and carers with children in years K-6 and included skills and information in searching the catalogue, searching the Internet, evaluating information resources, writing a basic bibliography and preparing for a library visit.

Morning tea was provided to seminar participants.
