Courses at women's health centre

The Peninsula Women's Health Centre has courses and workshops during the next month for all ages.

On March 21, the centre will hold a "magnetic healing" day, which is described as a "very dynamic and powerful form of vibrational healing".

Facilitator Stephanie Lewis said the results of magnetic healing were improved function on all levels physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

The course runs from 10am until noon. Bookings must be made by March 14.

On March 22, the centre will hold a course for people to learn Tai Chi.

Facilitator Heidi Cook will present basic Tai Chi from 10am until noon.

Bookings must be made by March 15.

On March 29, the centre will hold a hand massage workshop.

The workshop will start at 10am and finishes at 1pm.

Bookings must be made by March 22.

On April 4, the centre will hold a three-hour session to help explain Centrelink women's benefit entitlements.

The session starts at 9.30am and finishes at 12.30pm.

Representatives from Centrelink ask those attending to bring along any questions they may have.

Bookings must be made by March 28.

On April 12, the centre will hold an introduction to Qigong, an ancient Chinese precursor to acupuncture and shiatsu.

The session runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Bookings must be made by April 5.

Entry to all courses is by a gold coin donation.
