Activities for Seniors Week
Gosford Council has announced activities for Seniors Week, to be held from March 18 to 25, with the theme of "Share the Experience".
Member for Peats, Ms Marie Andrews, will host a barbecue and concert at The Ettalong Beach Memorial Club on Monday, March 19, at noon.
On Wednesday, March 21, a VIP Lunch and a concert by the Terrigal Troupers will be held at The Ettalong Senior Citizen Centre at noon, at a cost of $5.
On the same day, a free bus tour of Gosford Councils facilities will be leaving from Ettalong Beach Memorial Club at 8.45am. Another free bus tour of Council facilities will take place on Sunday, March 25, also leaving from Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club at 8.45am.

On Thursday, March 22, there will be a train trip to Newcastle followed by a sausage sizzle and a short stroll to the waterfront and new Sculpture Park.
Lunch will be available in the "Old Carriage Shed" under cover for a cost of $2. T.ickets for this outing are available at Ettalong Senior Citizens Centre.
A free inspection of the Hydrotherapy Pool and a demonstration by the Woy Woy Arthritis Group will be held on Friday, March 23, at Woy Woy Hospital between 10.30am and 11.30am.
On Friday, March 23, a cruise of Brisbane Water with afternoon tea will take place, departing Woy Woy at 10.45am.
There are 180 tickets available for the cruise at a cost of $3 from Ettalong Senior Citizens Centre. No wheelchair access is available.
During the cruise, a brief talk will be given on the game of "Shotball".
