Held on February 14, the winning team from Everglades Country Club was M. Ellis, P. Walsh, C. Daniels and 'skip' A. Tucker.

The event has increased in popularity with teams now entering from throughout the district, having been attracted by the increase in prize money from $1000 to $1500 for a one-day event.

Competition format consists of ladies vs ladies and gents vs gents playing three games of 14 ends.

Entry fee is $8 per player and includes lunch.

The next monthly tournament at the club will take place on March 6 and any team interested in competing should contact the club.
