Peninsula News rates highly with resident
The arrival of a new year and perhaps, particularly this year, seems to result in making evaluations, ranging from personal ones, to local, state and world-wide happenings.
There's always a lot of personal soul-searching, together with negative and possible feelings about outside matters.
Last year resulted in the launching of your newspaper, an event, which to me rates highly on the positive scale for local matters.
I am a subscriber and, funnily enough, don't receive my copy until a day or so after copies appear in our local store, and it is surprising how impatient I am until my Peninsula News arrives in the letterbox.
If good things come in small parcels, the Peninsula News is a perfect example.
It is loaded with news, contrives to cover each subject both concisely and interestingly and does not rely on sensationalism.
It is spoken of a lot in my area, and always positively.
I look forward to Jeannie Lawson's articles on environmental matters, to the local history articles, the comments from councillors and appreciate the encouragement it offers to anyone who wants to air a subject which to them is of importance.
It has by focussing on the Peninsula, recognised its importance in Gosford City.
I look forward to another year of finding it waiting in my letterbox.
