Casino fund gives out
Two Peninsula organisations will receive grants with money from the Casino Community Benefit fund.
The Police and Community Youth Club at Umina will receive $48,000 to help with the construction and development of the site.
The Peninsula Community Centre will receive $17,614 to continue its counselling and treatment service for problem gamblers and their families.
State Member for Peats, Ms Marie Andrews welcomed the grants.
She said the Government had allocated more than $25.5 million to problem gambling services including $3 million for a 24 hour telephone counselling service.
