Auxiliary hopes to better a great year
Woy Woy Hospital Auxiliary has announced their objectives for 2000 after a successful year of fundraising last year.
The Auxiliary raised almost $26,000 last year, which resulted in five new Lift Care beds, a digital weigh chair and refurbishment of the hospital's viewing room.
Their goal for this year is to raise sufficient funds for the hospital to purchase a bed bath, a BP machine, three nebulisers, four Lucy chairs and 15 aged friendly chairs.
A spokesperson for the Auxiliary said they would like to thank the community for their support.
The Auxiliary will hold a fete at Woy Woy Hospital Health Services Building, on the comer of Ocean Beach Rd and Kathleen St, on March 18 at 9.30am.
Stalls items will include; trash and treasure, books, cakes, jams, plants, kids' clothes and baby ware, toys and novelties, kitchen ware and more.
There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks.
A raffle will be drawn on the day.
For more information on Auxiliary membership, the fete or donations telephone Maureen Hurt on 4344 3229.
