Vince is Major Singles champion
Vince Chand has won the Everglades Major Singles Championship, played on Sunday, July 28.
Vince defeated Ken Young 25-20 in the final.
"The wind was blustering and caused havoc for the bowls to run their true line," said Everglades Bowling Club publicity officer Mr John McInnes.
"Vince took the early lead but Ken fought back and made it a close game under difficult conditions.
"Both players bowled great shots with the lead changing several times.
"Vince Chand is now the 2024-25 Everglades Mens Major Singles Champion."
