Changes to aged care home board and management

A Woy Woy aged care home has announced changes to its management team and to its board.

Blue Wave Living's longest serving employee, Ms Cathy Allen, will be retiring after nearly 30 years at the home

"Cathy has been a key member of our executive management team and will be greatly missed," said chief executive Mr Matt Downie.

BlueWave Living has recently appointed Ms Tracey Rosine to the executive management team as business manager.

"Tracey will be working closely with Cathy leading up to Cathy's retirement, ensuring a smooth transition.

"Tracey has a strong background in accounting and management, most recently working in a role in the community care and NDIS sector."

A new board member has also been appointed.

He is Mr Michael Swab, currently the acting general manager for Gosford and Woy Woy Hospital, Mr Downie said.

"Michael has a background as a pharmacist and working in acute care in senior management roles.

"Michael brings to our volunteer board additional clinical and business governance."
