Bridget wins junior girls tennis championships

Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy student Bridget Broome has won the 16s Junior Girls NSW Closed Country Tennis Championships held at Forster Tennis Club.

The competition spanned 10 days of intense daily tennis with multiple matches and events.

The event serves as a stepping stone to national and international tournaments, and to the ITF Junior Tour.

After winning the championships, she was presented with the winner's trophy.

Her name will now be etched on the trophy, alongside winners dating back to the 1920s.

"We couldn't be prouder of Bridget's dedication, skill, and hard work," said campus principal Ms Rebecca Cooper.

"This accomplishment is a testament to her incredible talent and perseverance."
