State environment groups oppose rezoning
The Total Environment Centre, National Parks Association of NSW, Better Planning Network, Great Eastern Ranges and Greater Sydney Landcare have joined calls to protect 300 hectares of prime conservation land on the Central Coast.
They have issued a joint statement opposing the rezoning of Coastal Open Space System scenic bushland reserves, proposed by Central Coast Council.
They have called on NSW Planning Minister Mr Paul Scully to refuse the planning proposal submitted by the council.
