Hall closes for floor repairs
The Pearl Beach Memorial Hall will not be available for use while its floor is being refurbished between Monday, August 19, and Friday, August 30.
Local groups, including the singers, cinema club, pickle ball and the book club, will not be able to meet in the hall during this time, said Pearl Beach Progress Association president Ms Victoria Crawford.
"Neither of course will our commercial hirers."
She said: "You can use the deck and kitchen and I will arrange for chairs and a couple of tables to be left out there.
"I know this will not work for everyone but appreciate your cooperation and patience.
