First week at Woy Woy 'a wonderful experience'
Woy Woy Public School's new principal Ms Sandy Knowles has described her first week at the school as "such a wonderful experience", getting to know students, staff, families and school procedures.
"I feel very privileged to be the principal of Woy Woy Public School," she said.
She said she had been able to visit most classrooms and see the amazing teaching and learning across the school.
"I am so impressed with the students' beautiful manners and the warm welcome I have received.
"I look forward to working in partnership with parents and carers and value open communication."
She said she was confident that, with their support, they could create a positive and inspiring educational experience for every child at Woy Woy Public School.
