Watercolour tutor wins major international awards
Ettalong Beach Arts and Craft Centre watercolour tutor Ms Danni Liu has won two major awards in the 5th Annual Women in Watercolor International Competition.
The competition had more than 1970 entries from 62 countries.
Judges said the winners definitely represented the best of the best women watercolor artists.
Ms Liu won second prize in the landscape and water category in the for her painting Santorini.
She also won the animals and wildlife section of the Holbein Merchandise Award for her painting Koalas.
Another two of her paintings, in the portrait and in the flowers and still life categories, were among 154 honourable mentions.
