Residents receive strong response to candidates' forum
A strong response has been received by the Peninsula Residents' Association to its council candidates' forum for Gosford West Ward to be held on Thursday, August 22.
"Interest is high in the candidates forum, which is just over three weeks away," said association vice-president Mr Julian Bowker.
He said just over half of the free tickets had been booked already.
The forum will be held at the Everglades Country Club at 7pm on August 22.
He said: "With the local elections to be held for the first time in years for the Central Coast on September 14, many of the candidates are new or unknown.
"The general public seem keen to get a chance to find out more and ask what these prospective councillors will do for the Peninsula."
