Two men win CWA cookery prizes
Among the place-getters at the Umina Beach branch of the Country Women's Association cookery competition on Saturday, July 27, were two men.
Entries were received in five sections: Boiled fruit pudding, butter cake, chocolate cake, sultana cake and light fruit cake.
In the Boiled Fruit Pudding section, prizes went to 1 Ms Kay Kennaugh, 2 Mr Tony Griffiths and 3 Mr Ken Janson.
In the Butter Cake section, prizes went to 1 Ms Lin Griffiths, 2 Mr Ken Janson and 3 Ms Celia O'Meara.
In the Chocolate Cake section, prizes went to 1 Ms Lin Griffiths, 2 Ms Celia O'Meara and 3 Mr Tony Griffiths.
In the Sultana Cake section, prizes went to 1 Ms Lin Griffiths, 2 Ms Rikki McIntosh and 3 Ms Kay Kennaugh.
In the Light Fruit Cake section, prizes went to 1 Mr Tony Griffiths, 2 Mr Ken Janson and 3 Ms Kay Kennaugh.
