Bridge club holds annual congress
Brisbane Water Bridge Club held its annual congress over the weekend of July 20 and 21.
Attendance figures were described as respectable, allowing for competitive bridge at a high standard.
Two separate divisions were played in the Saturday pairs with prizes for the full podium at all levels.
On the Sunday, 24 teams with prizes for the podium in addition to Restricted and Novice teams.
Club tournament secretary Peter Hume, took on the role of Congress Convenor.
