Car boot sale resumption delayed

The Woy Woy Peninsula Lions Club has cancelled its car boot sale scheduled for this month due to "coronavirus health concerns".

The sale is normally held on the last Sunday of each month except December, but was suspended last year due to coronavirus restrictions.

It was due to resume on January 31, but this has been delayed until February 28.

Covid-safe practices will be in place, said organiser Mr Greg Head.

This year, there will be no car boot sale and barbecue in April, as Sunday, April 25, is Anzac Day.
