Kindergarten assessments held Friday and Monday
Ettalong Public School will hold assessments of new kindergarten students either on Friday, January 29, or on Monday, February 1.
Parents should have received a letter with an appointment time, according to school principal Ms Lynn Balfour.
Parents who had not received a letter should call the school office on Wednesday or Thursday, she said.
"Assessments will run for approximately 30 minutes and one parent will be able to wait in an allocated area for its duration.
"Students do not need to wear their school uniform for their assessment- keep their uniform clean for their first day," she said.
Kindergarten students have their first full school day on Tuesday, February 2, with staggered starting times for the first day only.
They will finish at 2.30pm for the first two weeks.
"The school operates from 8.55am to 2.55pm each day with supervision provided from 8.30am," said Ms Balfour.
Students in Years 1-6 have been asked to assemble in their 2020 class lines on Friday morning.
"We hope to form 2021 classes as quickly as possible but are required to confirm accurate enrolments before this can take place."
