Edge lines for corner

Edgelines, curve warnings and 35km/h advisory speed signs are to be provided by Gosford Council on the bend at the intersection of Sydney Ave and Hobart Ave, Umina Beach.

The edgelines signs are being provided to improve safety at the bend.

A resident reported that vehicles often lose control on the bend at the intersection of Sydney Ave and Hobart Ave.

A recent site inspection by the traffic committee from Gosford Council indicated that the provision of edgelines and curve warning signs would improve delineation of the corner.
