Jack retires after 16 years

Jack Thorpe has retired after 16 years of service with the Everglades Bowling Club committee.

Jack began his official duties at the club as a selector, a position he held for two years.

He then joined the general committee and over the years performed a number of roles, including six years as assistant secretary.

During this time, he was also a pennant selector, a delegate to the zone and obtained his umpiring badge.

Jack also served on the zone greens committee.
