Committee praised for prosecution

Gosford Council's tree protection committee has been congratulated for instigating legal proceedings in Pearl Beach.

The action was taken for the alleged removal of three mature Norfolk Island pine trees in Pearl Pde, Pearl Beach, without council approval.

Ms Lois Westlake told the committee that the residents of Pearl Beach congratulated the council on its action.
