Email campaign for fast ferry

Convener of a local technology group, Mr David Abrahams, is running a campaign to drum up support for the Ettalong Fast Ferry.

He is asking for people to e-mail letters of support to fastferry@ettalong.org

Mr Abrahams said: "I am canvassing support in an email campaign to send a strong message to all decision makers that we as a group wish to speed up and advance the Ettalong to Circular Quay fast ferry service.

"I can't help but feeling that the whole process is being slowed down by lack of enthusiasm.

"With public help, this email campaign will breathe new life into the process.

"Many of us have moved to the Central Coast or remained here on the basis that we were going to have a Fast Ferry option shortly.

"This has not happened and we are forced to either commute by road/rail away from the area every day or risk our family finances and survive on the thin local job market," Mr Abrahams said.
