Lane to remain open

No action will be taken on a proposal to close the unnamed laneway between Myall Rd and Bourke Rd, Ettalong Beach.

Gosford Council adopted a traffic committee recommendation in September to advertise the closure of the un-named laneway between Myall Rd and Bourke Rd, Ettalong Beach.

The proposal was advertised for 28 days.

Council received five letters and one petition containing 26 signatures opposed to the closure and one letter in favor of the proposed closure.

The mayor and council senior management, acting on behalf of the council during the holiday break, resolved to take no action.
