New computers at Pretty Beach
Pretty Beach Public School has recently taken delivery of eight new computers as part of the State Government's "Computers in Schools" program.
They will replace four older MacIntosh computers in the upper grades and provide a bank of four computers in the school's resource room.
Already students from several grades have been making good use of these when classroom computers are in use.
It is the school's intention to link these computers to a scanner and colour printer and to have the capacity to share access with classroom and library computers.
This is planned to be set up by the end of this school term.
The school is also planning a web page to be activated later in the year
