Umina takes first two places in Turn Around Triples Day

Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club hosted a Turn Around Triples Day on Monday, March 25.

President Ms Gale Hill welcomed clubs from Avoca Beach, Davistown RSL, Ettalong, Everglades, Merrylands, Terrigal and Umina Beach.

A total of 20 teams played on the day.

Results:

First was the Umina Beach team of Debbie Moore, Leila Gilmour and Kaye Cavanagh with three wins, 22 ends and a 25 margin.

Second was the Umina Beach team of Lyn Kennedy and Jean Boardman, with Carol Dickson and Cherie Johnston substituting for Pat Neal, with three wins, 20 ends and a 23 margin.

Third was the Ettalong team of Marie Woodbine, Rose Ednie and Carol Edwards with three wins, 17 ends and a 15 margin.

The mystery prize went to the Davistown RSL team of Chris Notley, Jill Norton and Leeta Peters.
