Raffle raises money for food pantries
The Deepwater Woy Woy Older Women's Network held an Easter raffle at Deepwater Plaza on Monday and Tuesday, March 25 and 26.
More than $2500 was raised over the two days, which will be used to buy food for Mary Mac's, SDA Food Pantry and Community SOS Food Pantry.
The raffle was drawn by Member for Gosford Ms. Liesl Tesch.
The group's next function will be an Autumn-Winter Fashion Parade at 2pm on Saturday, May 4, at the Umina Beach CWA Hall.
