Outrigger club brings home three medals
The Peninsula-based Central Coast Outrigger Canoe Club was well represented at the Port Hacking Regatta at Gunnamatta Bay on Saturday, March 23.
Three Central Coast crews lined up for the 10km Short Course Race and brought home three medals.
The Senior Masters Mixed won the Ultra Light division.
"The crew displayed determination and passion," said crew member Yvonne Walters.
The Golden Masters Mixed crew took second place.
"The course was great, with a bit of everything including surfing through a ferry's wake," said Murray Burrows.
The Senior Masters Women's crew also gained a second place medal in their division.
Crew member Linda Donnini reported that it had been "a successful day of competition for the club".
