Free chiropractic clinic held at Mingaletta
A free chiropractic clinic, to be known as the Chiro Hub, has started at Mingaletta in Umina.
The health service is free to all in the community, running from 1pm to 5pm every second and fourth Monday of the month.
The clinic provides experience for final year Masters students as they fulfil the requirements of their course.
The students are fully supervised by accredited Macquarie University clinicians and are able to provide care for all ages.
Among issues the clinic treats are: joint pain in the back, neck, shoulders, hips, knees and feet, restrictions of mobility and tension, disc problems and sciatica, headaches and migraine, and sporting injuries.
Specialty services such as exercise and stretching advice, strength and flexibility assessment, and ergonomic advice for work and home will also be provided.
No bookings are required.
The service will operate at the Mingaletta hall at 6 Sydney Ave, Umina.
