Put Peninsula ahead of political ambitions

I'm writing due to the fact the next issue of the Peninsula News comes out after the election.

After reading the Peninsula News edition 465 about all the candidates for the State seat of Gosford and other articles regarding the State Election, I have become even more dismayed about the future of the Peninsula.

None of the candidates inspire confidence for the future.

The major party candidates are just putting crap on each other about their records for the Peninsula.

The others don't jump out of the page and say I'm the best vote for me.

At the end of the day whoever wins the election on the 23rd, I hope they put the Peninsula high on their agenda and fix the problems we have here, like the roads, stormwater drainage, Ettalong Channel and employment, just to name a few.

The best case would be that we have a Local Member who either holds the balance of power or is in the same party that wins the election.

If we have an Opposition member then we are in for another term without getting anything from the State Government.

I ask all the candidates to put us first, not their political ambitions.
