Ettalong wins Seniors Triple title

Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club's Garry Frost, Alan Lewin and Col Passfield have claimed the Seniors Triple Title with a last minute shot.

The Ettalong team pipped the Avoca Beach team of Chris Angrove, David Peckam and Kevin Bowcock to claim the title with Col Passfield's final bowl of the match.

Ettalong trailed for most of the game but levelled the scores at 15-all after 21 ends with four ends remaining.

Ettalong went into the last end needing two shots with Passfield's last ditch effort snaring the victory 18-17.

The Ettalong trio will now contest the Bowls NSW State Finals later in the year.
