Scholarship will help pay for university studies

Brisbane Water Secondary College graduate Chloe Newman has received a $5000 scholarship to go towards her university studies.

Chloe completed Year 12 at the Woy Woy Campus in 2018, achieving a first place ranking in the school's Engineering and Mathematics Extension 2 courses.

Her results enabled her to enrol early in a medical science degree at Macquarie University which she hopes will lead to further specialised study in neuroscience.

Ms Newman said she "really appreciated" the scholarship from the Ettalong branch of the Bendigo Bank.

Branch chairman Mr Mick Gage and branch manager Mr Peter McKeon wished Chloe well with her studies.
