Local pair produce TV program on men and their sheds

Two local residents are creating a new television program that explores the relationship between men and their sheds.

Mr Noel Saddler of Empire Bay and Ms Vivien Sale from St Hubert's Island will produce the Men and Their Sheds Roadshow, as an eight part series.

One aspect of the program will be a Mancave segment which will focus on men's health and wellbeing.

The pair will be producing the series through Mr Saddler's Empire Bay production company Skip Film Productions.

"Some filming for this segment has already taken place, featuring the Umbilical Brothers and Manu Feildel from My Kitchen Rules," said Mr Saddler.

The program will go into production later this year and filming will be conducted all over Australia, with the pilot and some other segments having already been completed.

"Throughout the series we'll be meeting up with some real Aussie oddballs, collectors and tinkerers who have some of the weirdest and most wonderful things in their sheds," Mr Saddler said.
