New oxygen kits for surf clubs
New oxygen resuscitation kits will be issued to Killcare, Umina and Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Clubs following the announcement of a State Government grant.
The kits are currently used by NSW Ambulance paramedics and will replace older kits used at local clubs.
Surf Life Saving NSW chief executive Mr Steven Pearce said the new oxygen resuscitation kits would provide the clubs with the best equipment to provide emergency medical care.
"This will make a huge difference and help our highly trained volunteers save more lives," he said.
Member for Terrigal Mr Adam Crouch said every surf club on the Central Coast would receive a kit.
