Suicide prevention briefing to be held in Woy Woy

A Lifeline Australia suicide prevention officer will hold a free community briefing for Peninsula residents at the Peninsula Community Centre in Woy Woy from 12:30pm on March 27.

Ms Holly Sutton will lead the briefing which will cover current Lifeline approved methods for identifying those at risk of suicide and preventative strategies.

"This briefing is for anyone interested in suicide prevention and aims to highlight services available, gaps in the service and facilitate the development of preventative strategies."

Lifeline will also hold a free suicide alertness training session at the Centre from 9:30am on the same day.

Bookings are essential for both activities and can be made through Lifeline Hunter Central Coast.
