Three Peninsula organisations will be among 11 Central Coast Community organisations that will benefit from Volunteer Small Equipment Grants.

Woy Woy Judo Club received a laptop computer and digital electronic scales valued in total to $2334.53.

Patonga Progress Association received a photocopier valued at $1090.

More than $20,000 has been made available to organisations in the Robertson electorate to purchase a range of vitally needed equipment including photocopiers, hand held radios, first aid kits and computers.

Member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd congratulated the winning volunteer organisations on their efforts in submitting successful applications and encouraged the other volunteer organisations to apply in the next round which will be announced shortly.

"Volunteering is a way of life on the Central Coast and it is important that the Federal Government assists to ensure these organisations secure much needed equipment to assist them with their vital work," Mr Lloyd said.
