Spike's grave 'still unmarked'
The Telegraph newspaper in London is reporting that Spike Milligan's grave remains unmarked two years after his death because of a family feud.
Despite protests from one of his sons, there is still no headstone on Spike Milligan's grave.
Spike told his family and friends that he wanted his epitaph to read "I told you I was ill".
His grave is in a churchyard in the seaside town of Winchelsea, East Sussex, it is marked by pot plants placed by his children and grandchildren.
The only monument, according to the newspaper, is a small angel placed last year by James Milligan and James' mother Margaret Maughan, who had an eight-year relationship with the comic.
Mr Milligan claims his attempts to erect a headstone have been thwarted by immediate heirs to his father who died aged 83 in February 2002.
