The second inning saw Magpies take command of the game piling on eight runs to give them a 10-2 lead.

Magpies continued to dominate with the bat scoring another 10 runs in the final three innings while Wolves could only manage one run.

Magpies used Mark Smith as their second pitcher with Wolves using Adam Blight as their closer.

Wolves' best batters were Craig McDonald with a solo home run and Paul Jones with a double.

Magpies' best were Mark Smith with two singles and a double, Patrick Maat with a home run and a single and Sam Brown with three singles.
