Salvos aim for $24,000

The Salvation Army is aiming to raise $24,000 on the Peninsula in this year's Red Shield Appeal.

The Door Knock Appeal this year on Sunday, May 23, will give travelling residents an opportunity to donate at roadside collection points where it is convenient and safe to pull over.

The Salvos' Umina Corps is a small group and want volunteers to assist them at new roadside collection points on Ocean Beach Rd, Brisbane Waters Dr and Woy Woy Rd.
